POLICE have issued more alerts about incidents across the Stroud area. 

Thrupp car targeted 

A car parked in Thrupp Lane, Thrupp was recently targeted by thieves. 

A pair of children’s goggles were stolen and the contents of the glovebox emptied.

Police say the vehicle was unlocked.

It is believed the incident happened between 9am Tuesday, March 19 and 9am Friday, March 22.

Anyone with information should contact 164 of March 26.

Rodborough car targeted

Another car parked in Walkley Hill, Rodborough was also targeted. 

The vehicle was ransacked.

It is believed the incident happened between 11pm March 23 and 11am March 24.

Anyone with information should contact 196 of March 26.

Nailsworth car targeted

A car parked in Watledge, Nailsworth has also been targeted. 

Officers say a passenger side headlight was removed and stolen. 

It is believed the incident happened between 4pm March 25 and 9.45am March 26.

Stroud warning about Cotswold stone and roof tiles thefts 

Officers have also issued a warning about a rise in Cotswold stone and roof tiles being stolen from homes across the Stroud and Cotswolds area.

A police spokesperson said: “If you have an area of your property with stone or tiles that isn't easily visible, for example a low roof at the back of a barn, it may be worth checking to ensure they haven't been disturbed.

“We encourage you to report any incident of this nature to the Police via 999 if the crime is in progress, otherwise via 101 or online giving as much detail as possible. 

“If you have not already reported a case of this nature and need to do so, please contact us as officers are in the process of collating these types of incidents.”
