£500,000 worth of jewellery stolen from parked car


ALMOST £500,000 worth of jewellery has been stolen from a car parked in Tesco’s car park in Cricklade Road, Cirencester.

The theft happened between 6.20pm – 6.40pm on Saturday, July 4.

The victim had been running a stall at the Cotswold Fair during the day and had left two bags of jewellery in the vehicle, a red Ford Maverick, while he visited the supermarket.

Officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw anyone acting suspiciously to contact them on 0845 090 1234, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 491 of July 4.
