THE body of a man has been recovered from the River Severn.
Police were called to the river near the Anchor Inn in Epney, between Hardwicke and Saul, at 9am today.
A member of the public had reported seeing a body in the water.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service and the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) attended and located the body.
A boat team recovered it from the river.
The coroner has been informed.
The body, which is male, has not yet been identified.
