MORE than 60 washing machines have been stolen from a lorry in Woodford, near Berkeley.
The incident happened between 6pm on Wednesday, September 30 and 6am the following morning while the lorry, carrying Hotpoint Indesit washing machines, was parked in a lay-by on the A38 southbound.
Unknown offenders cut a hole in the lorry’s tarpaulin and stole 61 machines, model number TVR2, which retail at around £180 each.
Anyone with any information should contact police on 0845 090 1234 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident 64 of October 1.
