Toxic waste stolen in Cheltenham

Police are appealing for information after the theft of toxic waste from Cheltenham.

The waste was stolen from behind Boots the Chemist on the Gallagher Retail Park between 27 October and 2 November.

It is described as treacle like substance and is kept in containers in a cage at the rear of the store.

The liquid is a waste product from the photographic department and is toxic, it can cause skin irritation and breathing problems if inhaled.

It is not known what containers were used to remove the liquid.

Officers would advise anyone who may find this liquid not to touch it but to contact police on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident 226 of 3 November.
