A DIAMOND couple returned to the pub where they met to celebrate 60 years of marriage.

Eric, from Westrip, would take the bus regularly to meet Nancy in her home town of Tetbury.

They married at St Mary’s Parish Church in Tetbury on October 15, 1949.

The couple, who are members of the Fellowship Club, now live in Berkeley Close, Cashes Green.

After the party at the pub on Sunday, October 18, a celebration was also held at the Fellowship Club on Thursday, October 22.
