FIREFIGHTERS used water jets and breathing apparatus to contain a blaze at a factory in Stroud. The small fire broke out in a unit on the Bath Road Trading Estate, in Lightpill, shortly after midnight yesterday, Tuesday. Two fire engines went to the scene, and firefighters spent more than an hour damping down the flames. The extent of the damage is not thought to be serious, while the cause has yet to be established.
