A WORKSHOP dedicated to the ancient wellbeing technique Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi is to be held in Stroud.
Various types of the meditative practice will be taught during the day-long introductory session at The Space in Lansdown on Saturday, February 6.
Qualified practitioner Mark Collins will guide participants through the most popular forms of Qigong, namely the moving Qigong, the standing Qigong and the sitting Qigong.
Originally devised by Taoist monks some 3,000 years ago, Qigong, pronounced ‘chee kung’, is a formulated set of movements coordinated with the breath designed to enrich energy levels and general health.
