A 19-year-old woman suffered bruising to her face after she was attacked and robbed in Stratford Park in Stroud.
The incident took place between 4.10pm – 4.20pm yesterday, Monday, January 25, as the victim sat on a bench in the park.
She was approached from behind by a group of girls who assaulted her and stole cigarettes from her before fleeing the scene. One of the girls in the group, who is not thought to have been involved in the assault, is described as white, around 15 or 16-years-old, 5ft5" tall, slim with straight blonde hair in a pony tail.
She was wearing dark trousers and a distinctive pink coat.
