Between 11.15pm on Tuesday January 26 and 2.30am on Wednesday January 27 unknown offenders entered the foyer at Lloyds TSB in Long Street, Tetbury and damaged a cash point by attempting to force it open.
They were unable to gain access to the cash point and nothing was stolen.
Police investigating the incident are asking anyone who witnessed anything suspicions is the area in the early hours of yesterday morning to contact them.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 21 of January 27. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
