FOREST GREEN and the Cotswold and Stroud Hate Crime Action Group are calling on children to help them kick racism out of football in the county.

To promote Anti-Racism week of Action 2005, the conference club and the Cotswold and Stroud Hate Crime Action Group are looking for boys and girls under the age of 12 to take part in a penalty shoot-out on October 15.

The spot-kick showdown with take place at Forest Green's ground before the team kick off their home game against Woking.

There will be two penalty shoot-out competitions, one for the U12s and onefor the U9s. There are 40 footballs as prizes for those registering early, medals for other participants and trophies for the winners.

Anti-Racism wrist bands and badges will be given to youngsters entering the ground.

Youngsters who want to take part in the penalty competition need to get to Forest Green's ground (main turnstile by car park) at 1.30pm on October 15 to register. Participants will get free entry into the ground to watch the match provided they are attending with a paying adult.

Lawnside Fitness Suite have supplied the first prize- a trip to Villa Park to visit Aston Villa on October 26.
