FORMER Royal Navy seaman Martin Solomon has been jailed for 16 weeks after repeatedly breaching an Asbo for ranting drunkenly at his TV and radio.
Solomon, 64, of Farmhill Lane, Stroud, was handed the sentence at Bristol Crown Court after he was arrested following further complaints about his foul language last weekend.
He had recently spent two weeks in prison awaiting sentence for a previous breach at Gloucester Crown Court earlier this month, where Judge Martin Picton set him free with a 12-month community order.
Speaking at that hearing, Solomon admitted not taking his medication to curb his drink cravings.
He was originally given the Asbo in October last year after admitting shouting obscenities in his home.
