FOUR teenagers have set themselves a gruelling challenge of kayaking, hiking, cycling and paragliding across Montenegro to raise money for a charity which helps young people fight cancer.

Finn Sowerbutts 17, from Frampton Mansell, has organised the trip in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust’s South West Appeal and has invited three friends to join him.

Bella Haycraft Mee, 17, from Brimscombe, and Alfie Gilbert and Emma Beresford from Cheltenham all attend Cheltenham College with Finn.

They will set off on Wednesday, August 11 and hope to complete the challenge in seven days.

The first part will be kayaking across the Bay of Kotor. Finn said: "Last summer my brother Felix completed a tough Croatian cycle ride and raised £6,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust’s South West Appeal. "With just a hint of sibling rivalry I hope to raise even more."
