THE Door Youth Project has announced it may relocate to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Cornhill, Stroud.
Brendan Conboy, project co-ordinator for The Door, said the building’s owners have agreed the sale on condition that they can also find a suitable location to move to within their own budget.
He added that should the move go ahead, the youth charity would apply to extend the building to accommodate the hundreds of young people using its services each year.
It also hopes to install another temporary building, donated by Nailsworth Town Council, in the car park of the premises as a wood workshop.
