Funeral announced for town and district councillor Linda

THE FUNERAL of dedicated Stroud town and district councillor Linda Townley will be held at Uplands Church at 12.15pm on Friday, December 3.
Mrs Townley, 52, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, following a period of illness.
Those attending the funeral are asked to wear something colourful.
Donations collected on the day will go to the support organisation Home-Start, of which Linda was a senior co-ordinator.
