TWO men were arrested on suspicion of robbery following two car-jacking incidents in Cheltenham.
The first incident happened in Brymore Close in Prestbury shortly before 11pm on Thursday, December 23.
A 33-year-old local man was attacked by two men after he parked his car. The offenders stole his keys and drove off in his car, which was later discovered in Hatherley.
The second incident was reported just before 11.30pm. A woman was threatened with a screwdriver but managed to retrieve her keys and stop her car being taken.
Following a search of the area and short chase on foot ending in Unwin Road, officers arrested a 29-year-old man from Cheltenham and 31-year-old man from Cheltenham on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incidents.
