LILY Allen is showing some pre-nuptial nerves ahead of her wedding on Saturday in Cranham.

The singer has hired St James the Great Church for her big day when she ties the knot with builder Sam Coooper not far from their £3m home.

Lily tweeted to Lucy Verasamy, ITV’s Daybreak weather presenter on Monday: "It says there are going to be winds of 275 mph in Gloucestershire this Saturday on Met Check, please tell me they are lying, it is my wedding."

But the weather presenter put Lily’s mind at ease responding on Twitter: "They are lies. Probably a glitch in their data feed. The charts have been changing everyday, it is a bit early to call Saturday. Light breeze and a risk of some showery rain at the moment, but the forecast will probably change between now and then."

The morning wedding will be held to the sound of the village choir which Lily has booked to perform.

Anthems which will be performed include Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring and May the Grace of Christ Our Saviour.

The Rev John Longuet-Higgins, vicar of St James the Great Church said he hoped the weather would hold out for the couple who want a traditional village wedding.

"They were not looking for Westminster Abbey. They live nearby and they are treated as locals," he said.

Lily has paid for extra police officers and the roads and footpaths which run past the church will be closed by police from 7.30am to around 1pm with only the wedding party, guests and residents allowed through.
