FRANCE Lynch brownie pack is in danger of closing down unless a new leader is found before Christmas.

Katherine Warner, the current brown owl, is leaving to set up a wildlife rehabilitation centre in Berkeley.

"I have really enjoyed my time here. The girls are always so excited to see someone who can organise activities and play games," said Katherine, who has led the pack for four years.

The leader, who must be a woman aged 18 or older, would need to be able to commit to at least an hour a week to lead the 24-strong pack of girls aged seven to eleven.

They would also need to take a one day first aid training course.

Two more helpers, male or female aged 18 or older, are also required.

The club meets on a Monday from 5.30pm to 6.45pm at Eastcombe Scout and Guide Hall.

Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Katherine on 01453 889 133.
