PAELLA and French beans were on the menu for pupils at Thrupp Primary School, who celebrated a day of European languages today.
French and Spanish are taught at the school and headteacher June Pritchard wanted to give pupils a taste of the culture.
"The day is about giving children some experiences from foreign countries," she said.
As well as dining on a multicultural cuisine, pupils dressed in the colours of European flags.
The school is currently forging links with educational establishments in Europe.
