TWO boys, aged 12 and 15, have been arrested on suspicion of a distraction burglary at the home of an 83-year-old woman in Eastington.
At around 5pm on Monday, a boy called at the woman’s home in Swallowcroft to ask if his ball was in the garden.
She went to check, leaving the front door open.
When she returned the boy had gone and cash had been stolen from her handbag.
The youths were later arrested and remain in police custody.
