MEMORIES of school days were shared by more than 100 former members of staff, students and parents at a reunion held on Saturday to mark Thomas Keble SchoolÕs 21st anniversary.

Photographs illustrating the school's major achievements were collated in a timeline stretching through the corridors.

While much had changed in the way of technology and facilities, former teachers were pleased to see the schoolÕs traditions being continued.

The annual six-mile walk for charity, which took place on Friday, was dreamed up during the Manor School days, before it became Thomas Keble in 1991.

Headteacher Chris Steer said: "It was a great pleasure to see so many friends together and to receive dozens of lovely messages from those who could not come. "The school is proud of its progress over these 21 years and at the heart of that has always been the individual pupil.

"To see former pupils and colleagues sharing fond memories was a delight."

A raffle, organised by the PTA and drawn by former headteacher Derek Lewis raised more than £2,000 for the school.
