WHEN three employees from First Base Employment in Stroud hit their milestone birthdays, they decided to turn the heat up on celebrations.
So director Tricia Hay, 40, and recruitment consultants Andrew Penrith, 30, and Jenny Smith, 50, are walking barefoot over hot coals to raise money for Cotswold Care Hospice.
Tricia denied she was scared by the prospect.
"I am not fearful - it will be an exciting challenge," she said.
"It is something to aim for and we are all thinking positively."
The close-knit team have worked together for the past six years.
The fire walk will take place at the hospice in Minchinhampton on Saturday, November 5 at 7.30pm.
Experts provide two hours of motivational psychology to enable the team to walk across 20ft of burning embers.
