A COLLABORATION between Hobbs House Bakery and the Yellow Lighted Book Shop in Nailsworth saw 50 cooking enthusiasts take part in a demonstration evening.
The event at Hobbs House in Nailsworth marked the launch of The Fabulous Baker Brothers Cookbook.
Brothers Tom and Henry Herbert were on hand not only to sign copies but also to show-off their skills.
"We were really happy so many people came along to have a chat and sample some of the food we made using traditional methods," said Henry, a butcher.
"It lasted about an hour and a half and I think everyone really enjoyed themselves."
The book accompanies the Channel 4 show, which the lads are currently starring in, and contains oven-based recipes including homemade breads, pastries, pies, cakes and confectionery.
Fully illustrated throughout, it teaches the reader how to bake like professionals in their own homes.
"We felt it would be a good time to get a book out there while the show is still fresh in the minds of the public," added Henry.
The Fabulous Baker Brothers Cookbook is published by Headline at £20, ISBN 0755363655.
