A SPORT coaching course is returning to Nailsworth in March.
The Pulse Sports Coaching Academy, now in its second year, is run by PSALMS - Painswick and Stroud Local Area Ministries - is and open to anyone between the ages of 16 and 25.
It follows the success of the 2011 Academy where seven participants achieved Level 2 Community Sports Awards.
Two of them, Sam Martin and Tom Burns, are now training as PSALMS interns and studying for diplomas in sport at Stroud College.
"With the Olympics taking place this summer it is a great time to get trained up in sports coaching and make an impact in the community," said Nailsworth sports minister Ruth Graveling.
"We had a lot of fun last year and were delighted all the young people achieved qualifications.
"We hope more will come again this year and achieve just as much."
The course starts in March and runs until August.
