MORE than 20 fish have been stolen from an aquatic centre in Bristol Road, Whitminster.

The exotic fish, which are worth at total of around £1,000, were stolen between 5.45pm and 11.45pm on Thursday February 16 when offenders damaged a fence to enter the site and stole the fish from an external display pond.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of theft in connection to the incident.

He has been bailed to return to police on February 27.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who is offered the fish for sale, or who saw any suspicious activity in the area on Thursday evening.
