STUDENTS enrolled on the Bridging The Gap course, a collaboration between Waldorf College and Stroud College, will be staging a production of Master and Margarita at the Cotswold Playhouse next week.
Propelling theatre-goers through 1920s Moscow, Mikhail BulbakovÕs masterpiece will be performed on Thursday, March 29 and Friday, March 30 at 7.30pm.
The play trails the story of Ivan Bezdommey, a small time poet trying to gain prestige through the Moscow Literature society.
Following a chance encounter with the devil, Bezdommey's life and mind are thrown into disarray.
A whirlwind of horror, humour, and love, Master and Margarita will take you on a strange and surreal journey from Jerusalem to the depths of hell and back.
Directed by Richard Ramsbotham, tickets cost £5 and are available on the door.
