Elderly man remains in hospital after being struck by reversing car

A 90-YEAR-OLD man remains in hospital after being struck by a reversing car in Painswick.
The incident happened in Churchill Way, near to Croft Primary School, around 3.30pm on Thursday, May 24.
A black Vauxhall Astra reversed into the man and he was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with a suspected fractured arm.
His condition soon deteriorated however, and he is now described as being in a critical but stable condition.
Witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are asked to ring 101 quoting incident number 285 of May 24.
