E-fit released after suspicious man attempts to get girl, 14, to accept lift

Police wish to speak to this person after a 14-year-old girl was approached by a man who attempted to get her into his car in Whiteshill, Stroud
police have released an e-fit of a suspect they want to speak to after a 14-year-old girl was approached by a suspicious man in Stroud.
The incident occurred as the teenager walked along The Plain in Whiteshill around 4.10pm on Monday, July 9.
A black hatchback car pulled up alongside her and the driver rolled down the passenger side window to tell the girl that her mum had asked him to pick her up.
The girl refused the lift and walked away and the man drove off. He did not touch her or attempt to force her into the vehicle.
He was described as white, of medium build, aged between 40 and 50-years-old and wearing a red polo shirt and black trousers.
