POLICE are appealing for a possible victim of theft or burglary to come forward after officers recovered around 15 bottles of Powerade which they believe have been stolen.

The drinks were recovered on Sunday, July 15, from a garden at an address in Ebley, Stroud, along with a chainsaw.

Officers believe the drinks and the Stihl power tool may have been stolen overnight between Saturday, July 14, and Sunday, July 15, and they are eager for possible victims to come forward.

Anyone who believes they may have had these items stolen is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 268 of July 15.

Can you explain what is wrong with that sentence? It is just a simple statement giving information to the public so they can help the police.

It was a busy night for the theft of soft drinks, apparently, as 6 cases of unopened Gatorade were also found in an adjacent supermarket car park. Police are looking for a gang of crocodiles and are conducting a snappy investigation.
