A TINY kitten was abandoned by the back door of a charity shop in Stroud over the recent bank holiday weekend.
Staff at the RSPCA South Cotswolds shop in Lansdown were shocked to find the six-week-old kitten near the back door of the store on Friday, August 24. The shop was closed for the long weekend but Andy Taylor, store manager, was working late and spotted the pet. He said: "We are horrified to think what could have happened if she had been left outside all weekend. I am just disgusted that people do this."
A spokesman for the charity reminded people not to leave animals at their shelters, shops or offices. If you could offer the kitten a home please call Nicola on 0777 273 7503.
