Police hunt for man after pub assault leaves victim with serious head injuries

Police want to speak to this man in connection with an assault outside the Clothiers Arms in July
A MAN is being sought in connection with an assault outside a pub in Stroud which left a drinker with serious head injuries.
The incident happened outside the Clothiers Arms in Bath Road at 2pm on Saturday, July 28.
Two men were assaulted during the incident, including a 46-year-old from Stroud who sustained serious head injuries.
A 35-year-old man from Gwent was arrested and charged with common assault and has been bailed to appear at Stroud Magistrates' Court on September 3.
police want to speak to another man who was caught on CCTV in the area, in connection with the serious assault.
He is described as white, in his 40s, of large build with short greying hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and white trainers and is suspected to be from either Newport or Cardiff.
Anyone who recognises the man should call police on 101 quoting incident 265 of July 28.
