Police appeal to business owners for dog training sites

First published in News by , Reporter

GLOUCESTERSHIRE’S police dogs unit is appealing to business owners in the Five Valleys to offer new premises for officers to train dogs.

The force’s 17 dog handlers care for 19 German shepherds and spaniels and it is important they are trained in a variety of places so they do not get used to the same surroundings.

Anyone who can help is asked to call PC Claire Todd on 101.
