Boys names scratched into grade 1 listed buildings

Cheltenham Police are investigating incidents of criminal damage at the Pittville Pump Rooms on East Approach Drive.

Last weekend, between Friday September 7 and Monday September 10, offenders scratched the names Ryan, Alan and Scott into the stonework of two pillars outside the building.

The Pump Rooms are a Grade 1 listed building and officers are following up on a number of enquiries but are eager to hear from anyone with any information about the crime.

Last time I looked this News paper was called the Stroud News and Journal - whilst this is news worthy in Cheltenham what has this to do with STROUD or the surrounding area...this and a number of Stories from Gloucester and Cheltenham are increasingly appearing on the website and the newspaper - is it because you cant find enough local news!!!!!!

Madam I have to support the last comment, is this not The STROUD News and if so why are we putting news out regarding damage in Cheltenham. Yes, it's not a very good but I would read a Cheltenham paper for this. I almost commented recently regarding your story about a pigs head being placed on a mosque in Cheltenham by a man from Bishops Cleeve.

What has this got to do with our local news for which we read, and enjoy your paper.
