police Continue to Appeal to Van Driver Who May Have Witnesses Fatal Collision to Come Forward.
Officers investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the A435 at Gotherington this morning at around 8am between a red Yamaha motorcycle and a grey Peugeot 306.
They are also looking into information from people at the scene that suggests that the driver of a white van may have also been a witness.
The motorcyclist, a 47-year-old man from Evesham, was taken to Frenchay hospital, Bristol, but later died of his injuries.
A 20-year-old man from Apperley has been arrested on suspicion of driving without due care and attention and on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He currently remains in police custody.
This potential witness is urged to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 52 of September 14 as soon as possible.
