Man sought in connection with armed robbery at Paganhill Post Office - description revealed by police

police have revealed a description of a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery at Paganhill Post Office in Stroud this morning, Monday, September 17.

At around 9.55am, a man entered the post office in Stratford Road and approached the counter before demanded that staff hand over money.

The offender was holding what is believed to be a knife.

The staff handed over some cash and the man left the premises on foot.

He was described as white, between 23 and 25-years-old and of very slim build. He was wearing a navy blue hooded top, jogging trousers and sunglasses.

Whilst the staff were shocked by the incident, no one was injured.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 96 of September 17.
