Cainscross Road in Stroud closed due to accident

CAINSCROSS Road is closed following a collision involving a lorry and a car.

The road is blocked in both directions between the A46 Merrywalks junction and the Gannicox Road junction after a lorry collided with a metal barrier at 9.45am today.

A blue Peugeot 406 was also involved in the collision and the driver has minor injuries.

Anyone with information should contact Gloucestershire Police on 101 quoting incident number 89 of September 19.
