police have arrested six people in connection with three assaults in Stroud last night.


Between 9.45pm and 10.15pm on Monday, September 24, two men and a 16-year-old boy were assaulted in separate incidents having been approached by a group of men and a woman.


The 16-year-old was assaulted on Lower Street, one of the men was assaulted on Castle Street and the second man, a motorcyclist, was assaulted outside Tesco on Stratford Road.


The three victims suffered minor injuries.


Shortly after the incidents, police arrested an 18-year-old woman and five men, aged between 16 and 26, on suspicion of assault.


All six currently remain in police custody.


Investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses to the assaults to come forward and are also asking for the public to report any other incidents in the area from yesterday evening.
