Teenage girl touched inappropriately as she walked into Stroud this morning

POLICE  in Stroud are appealing to the community for information after a teenager was touched inappropriately while walking in the town this morning, Wednesday, September 26.

The 16-year-old was walking along Beeches Green at approximately 8.15am with her teenage sister when they were approached by a man.

As the man walked past the girls he touched the 16-year-old inappropriately over her clothes. He then walked off.

He was described as being around 5ft 7” tall, of heavy build with short dark hair and was wearing dark coloured clothing.

There were a lot of people in the area at the time of the incident and officers are urging anyone that witnessed the incident or saw someone acting suspiciously to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 60 of September 26.
