A PERSONAL trainer has jumped from a plane to raise money for Cotswold Care Hospice.

Claire Niblett, 29, who works for Stroud District Council and for DW Sports Fitness Club in Gloucester took part in a sponsored skydive on September 29 to thank staff for looking after her step-brother Andy Best.

She said: "I always wanted to skydive before I'm 30. It is in memory of Andy and to say thank you for everything the Cotswold Care Hospice at home nurses did for him."

Cotswold Care Hospice at home nurses supported the family so that Andy could spend his final days at his home in Eastington. He died in 2009 at the age of 24.

So far Claire has raised more than £400 in sponsorship.
