HUNDREDS raised their mugs and took part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Highfield Garden World in Whitminster raised more £300 at their coffee morning and cake maker Judith McKay made a cake to replicate the Macmillan logo which was entered into a raffle.
Pheonix Trading sold cards and stationery at the Whitminster Inn coffee morning and 10 per cent of each sale was donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Staff at SFH Hairdressers, in Gloucester Road, Stroud, wore pyjamas all day and held a raffle as part of their coffee morning.
Coffee mornings were also held at Ebley Chapel, the Arkell Centre in Nailsworth, Coventry Building Society in Stroud and the Stroud Labour Party hosted an event at the Old Town Hall in Stroud.
Money raised from the World's Biggest Coffee Morning is used to fund services such as the Cancer Information and Support Centre in Cheltenham and Macmillan nurses, who provide support, advice and expertise.
