A SEVERE weather warning has been issued for South West England.
The Met Office has warned some areas may experience up to 40mm of rain in an hour this afternoon and that there is a risk of localised flooding in some areas due to ground already being saturated by water due to recent rain.
However, the Environment Agency has not issued any flood warnings for Gloucestershire.
The rain is expected to gradually ease from the South West by around 8pm.
