THE funeral of 21-year-old Luke Griffin will take place at St Matthew's Church in Cainscross on Friday at noon.
Luke, also known by the surname Harrison, was found dead on a beach in Newquay on June 2 during an end of season tour with Leonard Stanley AFC.
The family has requested Liverpool FC shirts or colourful clothing be worn.
A private cremation will follow for family members and close friends.
