STRAIGHT - A grades were the icing on the cake for Waitrose Café assistant Louisa Salmon and Hannah Johnson.
Louisa, 18, from Eastington, is off to Cambridge to study law after gaining A *s from Stroud High Schoo lin English Literature, history and RE, plus an AS in sociology.
"To be honest finding out I'd got into Cambridge through UCAS in the morning was amazing and was a huge moment of relief. The three A*'s were the icing on the cake," said Louisa.
Meanwhile, her work colleague Hannah, 18, from Randwick also scored three straight A*'s in biology, chemistry and physics and is off to York to study bio-chemistry.
The brainy duo toasted their results with a fun-filled evening amongst fellow students in Cheltenham.
