A FORMER Wycliffe College student has launched a website to make it faster and simpler for holidaymakers to find their perfect holiday cottage in Britain.
Sophie Alexander, who left Wycliffe in 1998, discovered that most web users disliked having to re-enter their search criteria each time they visited a new site.
"Most people want flexible search functionality but most holiday sites require you to know exactly where and when you want to travel, " said Sophie, 32, who now lives in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
"So we responded by designing a site which gives the user ultimate flexibility so they can search for what is most important to them. "
The site www.HolidayCottageCompare.com, which was created by Sophie and her business partner Paula Ross, is free to use and offers real time availability and pricing.
