PARENTS can save money by switching to re-usable nappies.

Customers who spend £50 or more on re-usable nappies at Exclusively Baby in John Street can claim £30 back from Gloucestershire County Council through its Real Nappy Scheme.

Claim forms can be picked up at the shop in John Street, which is the only retailer in the Five Valleys selling re-usable nappies.

Nikki Aylmer, who set up the shop in December, said: "Parents can save up to £700 a year so the financial benefits combined with the environmental factors makes this the way forward."

The cloth nappies, which come in a variety of shapes and designs are organic, can be washed at 40 degrees Celsius.

Exclusively Baby is also offering 10 per cent off this week to mark Real Nappy Week - a national campaign encouraging parents to try re-usable nappies.
