STAFF from the Coventry Building Society in Stroud raised over £2,600 for the Shrubberies School in Stonehouse by jumping 10,000ft out of a plane.
Six employees from the branch in King Street took the dive at Swindon Airfield and all money raised will go towards new facilities and equipment for the school which supports children with special educational needs.
Stroud branch manager Sam Pearce said: "We would like to say a huge thank you for all the support we have received from our members at the branch and also the local businesses who have helped us meet our fundraising target.
"We have been overwhelmed by everyone's generosity and the money will make a huge difference to the school and it's children." The team invited members of the public to the bank on Friday for coffee and cake to celebrate their success.
