A LUCKY gardener from near Stroud is set up for the autumn season after winning £1,000 worth of garden power tools and accessories in a national prize draw.
The draw was run by outdoor power tool brand STIHL and the Cotswold winner, Ann Corbin, entered at her local STIHL dealership, Nailsworth Garden Machinery.
She recently collected her prizes having chosen a STIHL petrol hedge trimmer and a grass trimmer plus a powerful garden shredder from the company's VIKING range.
She will also be taking home a saw horse and accessories for her current chainsaw - all ready to cut up logs for winter fires.
Richard Bailey of Nailsworth Garden Machinery said : "We've been running the STIHL prize draws since spring of this year and it is great that one of our customers has been a lucky winner.
"With £1,000 to spend on quality tools she will be set up for many seasons to come."
