FOLLOWING on from the success of the town’s recent Clocking Off Festival, Michael Gamble Funeral Directors believe it is time to shine light on what some still regard as the mysterious world of the undertaker.
Owners Michael and Clare Gamble are hosting a funeral open day on Saturday, July 26, at their premises in Station House, Stroud.
“There are so many taboos connected with our profession and there is just no reason,” said Mr Gamble.
“Openness is key to a greater understanding.”
The Funeral Home will be open from 10am until 3pm on Saturday.
Tea, coffee and refreshments will be served throughout.
Visitors will be able to discover the merits of funeral plans and putting into writing what they would expect at their own funeral service.
