A STROUD based company cleaned up at the Pharmacy Awards 2014 when it won best skincare and toiletry product.
Brimscombe-based Waterless Ltd won the award for its Nilaqua range of soaps and shampoos which allows customers to wash without using water.
The firm manufacturs and distributes waterless bathing products and hand sanitisers to high street chains, chemists, hospitals and care homes.
A spokesman for the company, based at the Hope Mill Business Centre in Hope Mill Lane, said: “Nilaqua has revolutionised the way care homes and hospitals carry out patient bathing, minimising distress and upset, reducing manual handling and falls and saving the care homes money.
“We are really excited to be recognised for our innovation and could not have done it without the support of people and businesses.”
