A GARAGE is cranking up business by expanding.
L&R Motors in Lansdown has opened a second garage in Parliament Street.
To celebrate the new development – which comes as the business marks its 10 year anniversary – the firm is cutting the cost of MOTs by £10 throughout January, which means it costs £35.
Ray Teakle, who runs the business with Liam Fummell, said: “Regular servicing means cars get more miles per gallon so they run more efficiently.”
The current pothole problem means suspension and tyre problems are the most common car problem dealt with at the business.
